In 1996, Cheryl Guinan had a vision of creating an accounting firm that focused on customer service, and made every client, big or small, feel valued while offering services at a fee that the client could afford. Cheryl Guinan, a CPA since 1996, decided to leave a large established CPA firm in Boston and form Guinan & Associates.  Cheryl felt confident that she could better serve her community and clients with her expertise in public accounting in a smaller environment.  She has been a member of the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and the MSCPA (Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants) since inception.

KJ Guinan joined the firm as a partner in 2003.  KJ brings a combination of 13 years of working experience in both corporate finance and financial reporting management.  He has worked in both the banking and marketing/advertising industries.  His attention to detail and financial reporting skills have created a reputation of providing quality service that reflects the high standard that he demands of himself.

Guinan & Assoicates has a diversified client base which includes construction, real estate, professional services, manufacturing, restaurants and retail businesses throughout the country.  Our clients range in size from $15M in revenue to small sole proprietors.  We provide various accounting needs and support that focus on small businesses as well as individuals.
